Abby in Austin's Story...
Abby is 2 years old, spayed, UTD on shots, and ready to find a new home. She is a tiny little thing and full of love! Her first home was a cruel one. She was kicked in the leg by a grown man. Her hip was cracked and she had to have surgery to repair it. This was 7 months ago and she is completely recovered. Even though she was treated badly she is still a happy and loving girl. The requirements to adopt Abby are pretty strict. I am determined that her next home will be perfect. Home visit and vet check will be done.

Transportation can be arranged anywhere in Texas. Abby will not be shipped out of state.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abby in Austin, a Houston Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Houston, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
