My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATED BIO 08/20/2011: Petunia (Tunie) is a SWEETHEART of a 5 year old 5.5 lb little girl who was rescued from a cage where she spent 5 years of her life making babies to be sold for profit. Tunie is a doll and is being fostered in Miami, FL. Her FM is in LOVE with her and sees progress in her every single day. Tunie went from hiding under the furniture to asking to be picked up. She even learned how to walk on a leash in two days. She now loves to go on walks with her foster siblings. Tunie is one of those stories that warms your heart, the petrified dog that cried when you picked them up is now outgoing and loving and wants to be with her FM all the time. After just one week, we see a new dog. We can't wait to see what happens after a few months! Tunie, you're a special little princess and will find you happily ever after soon!

INITIAL BIO 08/15/2011: We are pleased to introduce Petunia (Tunie for short). Tunie is an adorable little 5 lb 5 year old yorkie girl who was recently surrendered by her breeder. Tunie's work is now done and it's time for her to find a wonderful family of her own - the kind we hope her babies (one pictured) found. Tunie is not socialized to people and spends a lot of time hiding under furniture or alone on the couch or in her crate. We're working hard at getting her used to being held and kissed. It will be a slow process, but we think she will learn in time how to be a loved companion. Tunie appears to get along with other dogs. She is not leash trained or house trained yet. She is being fostered in Miami, FL. Please email FM for any info on this little princess.
