Zip's Story...
Zip is a 6-8 yr old Parsons Russell Terrier/Beagle mix. and weighs approximately 25 lbs. His current owner got him from MANCI prison system in Mansfield. According to his owner, Zip knows basic commands and listens well. But he doesn't like cats, and loves to chase them and anything that moves. He is good with other dogs, however better with smaller dogs. He can be aggressive towards larger dogs but it is thought to be more of just curiosity and showing his dominance. He has never been fed table food, nor had any illnesses. He loves to play and always wants attention. Zip lets you know when someone is around, and waits for you when you go away. His personality is one of a very curious dog who always wants to know whats going on and where you have been. His family loves him very much but because of personal family 419 -458-0115 ip is currently in his owners home while we assist in rehoming him

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zip, a Carey Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle for sale in Carey, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle dog from a breeder in Carey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carey paves the way for another one to be saved.
