Lucia is being adopted this week! Yippee, Luci! 9.20.11
Sweet little Lucia (loo-see-ah) weighs 10 lbs & is fully vaccinated. She is small-medium breed pup at 14-15 weeks old . She's very agile & petite & loves to show off her stuff at the dog park. Lucia will romp & run with all the dogs, big & little alike, until she's told she has to go home. Otherwise she would be content to stay & play forever!
She appears to be a lab, beagle/hound mix. With her current size, we don't think she'll be larger than a 30-40 lb dog, but we have been known to be wrong.
Lucia is crate trained & sleeps there at night & stays there during the day during work. She does very well but needs to be let out after 6 hours maximum, 4-5 hours is easier for her. She's had no accidents inside since the first weekend which means she is super duper smart. She goes on leash walks to the park & loves every person & pup she meets. Lucia is a true lovey-dovey dog & is a great cuddler. She loves to chase & run in the back yard & then collapse into our arms where we get puppy kisses & snuggles until she falls asleep.
Lu is current on her vaccinations, wormer, and is spayed. Lady Lucia is current on heartworm & flea/tick preventatives.
Our sweet little nugget of playful love will be best in a home with older children. Lucia will make someone a very happy human when they make her their very own!

Adoption fee is $90. Thank you for wanting to share your home with one of our rescued pups!
If you are a parent adopting for your children, please remember we do pick the best home for our pups. If there are 2 applications that come in at the same time, for example, and one will be a better fit, that is the one we choose. Many parents pump up their children about getting a specific puppy, and it can be very sad for the child if the particular puppy isn't a good fit unbeknownst to them. We put this disclaimer here because a couple of parents have been upset when a home that used doggy daycare & had a fenced in yard was chosen over crate-all-day without a backyard. Peace.
