Pollyanna's Story...
Pollyanna was born around June 15th. Her Mama is a Great Pyrenees/Shepherd mix that is on the smaller side of large. She looks nothing like her mom! Her daddy is either the families yellow lab mix or a travelling milkbone salesman. They are not sure!
Pollyanna is very playful, loves to play with the other dogs, and is very curious about the world around her! She loves to cuddle and get attention. Pollyanna will be all ready for her new home on Labor Day weekend! Because she is so young she will not be spayed before going to her new home. Hers new mom and dad will get a 50$ rebate when they have it done at 6 months of age and a low cost voucher information paper will be included in her medical folder!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pollyanna, a Harrisonburg Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Harrisonburg, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Harrisonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
