My story

This is Bruno. Bruno is a gorgeous brindle pit mix with those exotic, soul searching eyes that are full of mystery. If you appreciate a dog that will give his heart and soul to you then you and Bruno will be friends for life!

The ideal person for Bruno will have had more than just a “happy-go-lucky” dog in the past, for Bruno is truly a rescue. He is NOT dog park material, and because he is so smart, Bruno will keep you on your toes, literally! Exercise daily for both you and Bruno will keep you both in shape and will ever increase the fantastic bond you will share. Bruno is one of a kind, and he is looking for a one of a kind friend, forever.

Bruno is quite the housekeeper. He does not soil his kennel, so you will be happy to know he is house trained. He does not chew-up his bedding; he will sit, lay, wait, and heel all on command.

We’re on the lookout for a great future home for Bruno- if you’re on the lookout for a super dog, we’ve got a match!

Adopting a rescued animal is a lifetime commitment! Adopters must complete a questionnaire, personal interview and home visit prior to adopting a Rocket Dog. There is a non-refundable $240.00 adoption fee which helps us defer the cost of spay/neutering, vaccinations and microchipping, food and medication (Rocket Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3)nonprofit organization and this fee enables us to continue rescuing and helping animals).
