My story

Born October 2006, Sabrina walks easily on a leash and obeys the sit command. She waits at a doorway until told she can go through it. She comes when called and holds her head up to get the leash put on her. Sabrina prefers a structured routine in her life. Sabrina adores other dogs and would really enjoy another dog in the household. She gallops around the yard with other dogs chasing sticks and generally having a blast. Sabrina will reliably bark when a visitor comes to your home. She exhibits good indoor manners by waiting for permission to enter certain rooms, sits quietly on her doggie bed while you work, and doesn't jump on furniture or surf countertops. She isn't a destructive dog. She plays with the toy she is given and doesn't run off with your shoes dangling from her mouth. Sabrina is crate trained, up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, spayed, and takes heartworm prevention. She weighs 57 pounds, a great size for most households. Her short sleek black and red coat is low shedding and relatively maintenance free except for an occasional bath. As meek Sabrina needs extra time to adjust to a new home, her adopter should be a compassionate person willing to give Sabrina time to adjust to a new routine. Sabrina expresses affection for her people by quietly licking their hands, but doesn't gush with adoration and doesn't solicit attention or seek petting. Sabrina's adoption fee is waived for the right person who understands the nature of a timid, nonaggressive dog.
