My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Skipper, a Pomeranian who is at least 5 years old. He's possibly a mix because he's larger than most but the vet said he has seen them this size. Skipper came from a home where he was spoiled so much he's a bit overweight! He weighs 20lbs but has been on a diet and is getting in shape. His previous owners passed away and he was left alone in the house until he was rescued. He is very friendly and loves his people. He's good with other dogs and pets. He likes to sit on the floor by my feet and give kisses. This is one loyal doggie. He plays with toys and with his friend, Donald. He looks like he's smiling all the time. Unfortunately when he arrived, he was so matted he had to be shaved but he's so much more cool and comfortable now. He is housebroken and crate trained for sleeping at night. If you're ready for a new best friend, Skipper may be just the doggie for you.

Skipper's adoption fee is $225. He is current on shots, Bordatella, neutered, flea preventative, heart worm negative, vet checked and groomed. He comes with 3 months of heart worm preventative and a free 6 month vet exam. There is an application and reference check to adopt Skipper. We are a non-profit rescue that relies solely on adoption fees and donations. We spend time getting to know the dogs personally and care very much about where they go.
