Nyla's Story...
Hi there I'm Nyla! My foster mom thinks I am approx. 4 months old. I have the heart and spirit of a champion even though I am a special needs girl. I have a disease known as Neospora with has affected my back legs. This does not stop me from playing and running and I especially like doing so with other dogs. I do have exercises to do every day using my peanut shaped exercise ball but I don't mind this at all, in fact it is fun. Do you think you have it in your heart to love me for the rest of my life - but be careful, I promise I will be in your heart forever.

This pet comes with a 30-day gift of Sheltercare pet insurance, the number one brand of pet insurance for adopted pets. Over 3 million adopted pets have already been insured!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nyla, a Altmonte Springs Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Altmonte Springs, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Altmonte Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Altmonte Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Altmonte Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Altmonte Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
