Taffy's Story...
Hello, my name is Taffy and I am a very handsome, flame point, siamese X who is looking for a new home. In 2006 I was a stray, hanging around people's homes and getting food from those who would feed me. In December, when the snow came, a nice couple tried to take me in but I did not get along well with their cat. The nice folks had me neutered and had my first set of vaccines done. When they realized that I wasn't a good match for their home (their cat really did not like me) they brought me to VPAS so that I could find a real home of my own. I am a very sweet boy and I like attention but I would rather lie on the floor and get my back rubbed than be picked up. When I first arrived at VPAS I had an eye infection and an upper respiratory infection. I was medicated for these things and now the doctors say that I am healthy and ready to be adopted. If you would like to meet me please contact VPAS at vpas@wormers.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Taffy, a Saanichton Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Saanichton, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Saanichton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saanichton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saanichton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saanichton paves the way for another one to be saved.
