found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
UPDATE 9/29/11: When Happy came to UYR he was afraid to go outdoors, even to potty, he used pee pads. Now he can't wait for his walks. We are walking 2 miles in the morning and 2 miles in the evening. Hap is very energetic yet very well mannered and behaved inside. Quite remarkable for a youngster! Now all he needs in a loving family to go home to..............could that family be yours???
Update 9/13/11: Happy is really enjoying his walks in the wildlife park and has discovered he loves squeaky toys! It's good to be young.... With the cooler weather he is able to enjoy rides in the car and running errands with his foster family, he is a good traveler. Gosh, he is just turning out to be a good all-round pup.
UPDATE 9/08/11: Happy is currently participating in an intense training process and is the head of the class. Very good for a young, exuberant dog. Most pups his age need to learn a few manners. His "sit/stay" is better than others that have been working on it much longer! He has learned to walk beside you in a mannerly fashion and ignore most distractions along the way. Happy is learning to sleep beside the bed vs. on, just in case his "Forever Home" doesn't want a "bed-warmer." Hap is enjoying the learning process as well as soaking it all in. His Forever Family will be as fortunate to have him as he will be to have them!
UPDATE 9/02/11: Happy is doing really well on the leash training, he loves the walk! Not thrilled with the bike though (hey, he has short legs!). Hap says, "it's been a pleasure being here but the other puppy left, these old dogs are good company but won't play."
UPDATE 8/30/11: Happy (aka "Hap") is ready for his "Forever Home!" Hap will only require what any young pup his age needs; exercise, guidance, and love. Hap will be best suited in a home that is looking for a walking companion and best friend.
Hap is doing well here at his foster home. He is getting along well with the other dogs, loves chew bones but hasn't chewed on anything he wasn't suppose to, has used pee pad between outings, and we are presently working on kennel training. Being the youngster he is, he has vied for leader but was quickly put in his place and is learning to be a good follower
Initial Bio 8/23/11: This is "Happy" sending out a big Texas "Howdy!!". He is a young, healthy boy looking for someone to be his best friend. Not too big nor too small, just right. Happy just arrived and is doing really well with the other members of the pack, even the cat. So far he has been going outside to potty or using pee pads. He is also learning to walk on lead and obey simple comands. Doing pretty well too! Get your adoption applications in quickly on this one because he will be a great addition to the family!............. More info as we get to know him better.
