Zoe's Story...
Zoe is a sweet Pit Bull mix that needs a forever home. She had a difficult start in life: she was tied up outside by a shoestring and rarely fed. When she was found, she was significantly underweight. Zoe is a joy to have around. She is full of life and energy but loves to just hangout, cuddle and get her belly rubbed. She is exceptionally smart, has been spayed, is crate trained and is housebroken. Zoe loves people, other dogs and cats, although she can sometimes scare them with her eagerness. Zoe is up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoe, a Berkeley American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
