Owner surrender from private home. Owners daughter has moved in with a toddler and Buji is too energetic for the family to properly control. He has knocked the toddler over a few times and rather than more exercise and training they have decided to rehome Buji.
Buji is a typical exuberant puppy, very energetic, bouncy, active, curious. He loves to play and is good with other dogs, he has lived with a cat but tends to try and chase to play, he has never hurt the cat. He is good with kids but is a little too much at the moment for little kids, a home with kids 8yrs+ would be more ideal, he is currently fostered with twin 12yr old boys and things are going well. He is house trained and crate trained, he likes to sleep in his crate at night and when left alone. Short of his house and crate training Bujis owners have done little to no training and he needs to work on manners and basic commands. Thankfully his foster home has started routine, working on manners and obedience! Puppy school would be great for Buji to bond with his new family, socialized with other people and dogs and to learn! He loves to be with people, hes great with kids (but tends to jump up) and loves to play. He loves to fetch a ball or rope toy. Loves to play in the hose and be toweled off after. Over all he is loving and good natured, he has just been spoiled with no direction in his home. He has been allowed to run around, jump up and use his mouth to play with people whenever he wants. He needs to no longer be allowed to jump up or use his mouth to play with people which he tends to do when excited. He knows how to sit and lay down if you can keep his attention long enough – he’s still a pup. He really needs to work on basic manners around the home no jumping, no mouthing, staying off furniture. Buji needs structure and exercise and most of all a patient and consistent family. He’s a great pup with a loving and loyal personality, he is eager to learn, loves to learn, he just needs a patient and loving family to teach him. Buji needs a dog savvy, active family to talk him for lots of walks and playtime outdoors. He’d be great as a second dog or on his own, he can stay alone for typical 9-5 work hours and doesn’t mind traveling in the car. He’s also love to spend time at a FENCED off leash park at least once a week, at the moment he should not be off leash as his recall command needs work still. He should get about an hour of exercise each day to be calm and content when in the house. Buji has tons of potential, he just needs someone to give him more exercise, love, structure and patience to come along and be a fantastic companion. Buji must go to a home with a house and fenced yard, he would not be happy cramped up in an apartment with no yard.
