Polo's Story...
Polo is Marco the Explorer's "twin" brother. Like his brother, Polo loves to explore and dig his way to China in the litter box. Needless to say, Polo has very good litter box habits. He loves to run, play, climb the cat tree, and travel through the dark, scary tunnels aka rolls of carpet. He ponders and observes more than Marco before engaging in activities, but once he starts, he is highly energetic. He meows occasionally but is not a big talker. Polo's mother was a pregnant stray, and a friend of Woofs and Books rescued her and brought her to Woofs and Books. Polo was born on 06/01/2011 and is neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped. He is being introduced to dogs so he becomes accustomed to them. The adoption fee is $75 and an adoption application needs to be completed. Please consider opening your home to this fun, happy kitten. More info. can be found at www.woofsandbooks.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Polo, a Noblesville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Noblesville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Noblesville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Noblesville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Noblesville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Noblesville paves the way for another one to be saved.
