Junior's Story...
location: Springhill, FL

Junior is approximately 10 months old (born around 11/10) and weighs 16 pounds. He is a very happy, loving, playful puppy who is just FULL OF ENERGY. Junior loves to swim and play in the pool, go for rides in the car, and play with his favorite toys. He is good with other dogs, cats and children, but will let them know who the boss is when he's in his person's lap. Junior is very smart and a quick learner. He's crate trained, housebroken, walks like a gentleman on his leash, and knows lots of tricks. Junior is an excpetionally good jumper - able to jump straight up over 4' off the ground, so it is hard to keep him in a fence. This fun-loving little boy is ready for his forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Junior, a Jacksonville Rat Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Jacksonville, or seeking a Rat Terrier puppy from a breeder in Jacksonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jacksonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jacksonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jacksonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
