My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATED BIO 10/1/2011: Well It's me, Momma Lindie. I lost 2 of my
baby girls, but I still have Kourtney. I was homeless when they found
me, and my other two babies were very small when they were born and
weren't strong enough. I just love Kourtney. She is a stinker, and
some family will be lucky to have her because she is a fun little
baby, I have a lot of energy, and I love to play. Walking on leash
and going for long walks is one of my favorite things to do. I am a
happy girl, I get along with other dogs, and the cat just drives me
crazy. I will let you know when I can be adopted, because I have
teeth that need to be cleaned, and something foster mom calls a spay,
(hmm what could that be?). So stay tuned.
xoxo

INITIAL BIO 08/22/2011: Lindie is an adorable little girl who is 4 years old and 14 lbs (though she's a little chubby right now... with good reason.) See, Lindie was dumped at a high kill shelter by her owners who for some reason couldn't care for her or didn't want her. UYR pulled this sweetie only to find out she was pregnant! We brought her immediately to our rescue vet who confirmed via xray that Lindie was carrying 3 little babies. She is in good health and good spirits. We weren't expecting her to deliver for another week or so. (Though it was only a guess since we don't know Lindie's history or what breed her puppies are mixed with).

Well, today, Lindie's foster mom (she is being foster in Punta Gorda, FL) came home from running a few errands to find that there had been two deliveries! The third followed suit shortly thereafter. All three were vigorous little girls who are doing well so far. At this time, we are not accepting applications for Lindie or the babies. Lindie is asking that we do not receive any inquiries on the girls as it hurts her feelings. It will be some time before the puppies are avaliable for adoption, and we will be posting them when they are. Their names are Kourtney, Khloe, and Kimmy. :)
