DUGGIE's Story...
Say Hi to Duggie. He is a beautiful, big English style purebred boy, rescued from a high kill Inland Empire shelter on his last day.
Duggie is a waggy, typical lab,;he is good with other dogs and just wants to snuggle and cuddle. As a matter of fact, he prefers o sit in the car with his head on your shoulde! He is a well balanced, good natured 2 year old male. Duggie definitely needs some training--he probably has never had any as he has bad leash manners and is a puller. We are sure he will be a fast learner as he just wants to please.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

DUGGIE, a San Diego Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
