Mona's Story...
I'm Mona! I'm about 5 1/2 as of August 2011. I am very talkative and love to be pet. I do not like to be held or picked up though. I love attention and affection, but also like to find a quiet place by myself. I need a quiet home with a patient person who will give me plenty of time to adjust. I need a home without dogs and children. I will be very difficult to get in a carrier, so I need an experienced cat person to adopt me. I am such a sweetheart and will follow you around at your feet talking to you, and waiting for you to pet me. I get along very well with other cats. I've been waiting a very long time for my forever home, and I'm not sure why. Please adopt me!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mona, a Middletown Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Middletown, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Middletown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Middletown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Middletown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Middletown paves the way for another one to be saved.
