Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pippa is a 2 year old female Pekingese who has a lot of energy. This is the only picture where she slowed down enough to actually see how cute she is! She weighs about 12 pounds and she eats dry dog food (likes people food for treats!). She walks on leash tirelessly, and will enthusiastically greet every person she sees.
Pippa is very curious, and possibly strayed from her last owner, so she will always need a leash or enclosed yard. She was found with another Pekingese that we believe to be her brother. They appear to be the same age and have very similar personalities. His name is Mu Shu and he is being fostered in Delaware.
Pippa will entertain herself with her toys, and she loves to fetch small balls. She enjoys her bath and is okay with clipping any long hair that interferes with her wash and go lifestyle. She gets along with other dogs and rides quietly in her cage in the car. She comes when called and she is quiet. She likes to be carried and will also sit on your lap for hours at night.
Pippa is being fostered near Moorestown, NJ and her asking adoption fee is $300.

Please read about adopting from us on our home page by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page.
NOTE: Due to the volatile price of gas, getting multiple volunteers to help with long distance transporting is no longer feasible. We have listed the town and state where each dog is being fostered. Please consider how far you are willing to travel when filling out the application. The foster home will usually volunteer to help with transport for a reasonable distance.
