Mingus's Story...
Hello my name is Mingus. Along with my brothers and sister, I was rescued from an elderly ladies house with alzheimer. There were over 20 cats in one location, but thankfully we are in loving foster homes now. I am a month old. I am currently on medication, but I am doing so much better than before. I hiss sometimes because I am scared, but I am looking for a forever home with people to love me. I am good with kids and dogs as long as they don't hurt me. I am a very tiny kitty who is very scared, but as soon as I get to know you and grow up with you, I will love you forever.
I haven't been neutered yet because I am under two pounds. If you adopt me, you would have to sign a contract stating you will neuter me or UFA will neuter me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mingus, a Glendale American Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Glendale, or seeking a American Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Glendale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glendale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glendale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glendale paves the way for another one to be saved.
