Jill's Story...
Hi I’m Jill, and unfortunately I didn’t arrive at the kennel with Jack. We did try to go up a hill but I got into a truck and came to the kennel. I may only be “almost” 2 years old but I have the manners of a 5 year old. I’m courteous, kind, eager to please, and have the most soulful eyes. I use them to get my way all the time. I don’t think of myself as the begging type but if you have something I want I try to use my “magic eyes” to get you to give it to me. Most of the time it works. If you think you would like to give me a home, call Denise today.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jill, a Gerrardstown Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in Gerrardstown, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in Gerrardstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gerrardstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gerrardstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gerrardstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
