Katie's Babies's Story...
Katie came to us through Animal Control, she was taken to a vets office to be euthanized after an accidental breeding with her owners english setter. The AC in turn called us to see if we would care for her and and her pups. Katie has had her puppies... nine in all and is doing well; she is gaining weight, producing milk and taking care of her babies. She will be available for adoption after her pups are weaned and she has recovered from her spay surgery.
We are also accepting applications for the pups. Once approved and the pups reach 4 weeks, you will be able to visit them weekly until they are ready for their new families at 8 weeks.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Katie's Babies, a Mason Weimaraner/English Setter puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner/English Setter for sale in Mason, or seeking a Weimaraner/English Setter puppy from a breeder in Mason.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mason already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mason breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner/English Setter breeders who help with Weimaraner/English Setter rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mason paves the way for another one to be saved.
