Anna's Story...
Hi, my name is Anna and I am a 2-3 year old shepherd mix. If you had to sum me up in on word, I would say sweetheart. I’m really grateful that I was rescued from the shelter in TN and brought here to my foster Mom’s house. My foster Mom feels that I will be incredibly loyal to my family. My foster Dad says that I am the best dog ever!! I really like people – all people and even kids. I’m currently living with a 12 year old boy and an 8 year old boy and adore them! I also live with my foster families 2 dogs and get along well with them. I am a submissive girl and quite shy, but every day I feel more comfortable and let my true personality start to shine through. I love to hear what a good girl I am and love it when my foster Mom laughs when I run around the yard and play like a silly girl. I love to snuggle up and be petted and just be part of a family. I just wanted to introduce myself. I’ll have my foster mom update more later as I gain confidence and settle in. I so hope to have a family of my very ownJ

If you would like to learn more about me, please contact my foster mom Julie at .

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Anna, a Rochester/Buffalo German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Rochester/Buffalo, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Rochester/Buffalo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester/Buffalo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester/Buffalo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester/Buffalo paves the way for another one to be saved.
