Amber's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Amber's Story...
Amber is 8 months old and is very energetic! She is black with white highlights on her underbelly and has a very silky medium-long coat. The unique feature about this sweet girl is that she has extra toes on both front paws. Kitties with extra toes are sometimes referred as "Hemingway" cats. Some people believe they are good luck!

I found Amber at an Exxon in Odem, TX sitting in the middle of the parking lot as cars drove by her. I noticed she was limping and had hair loss on her bad leg. The vet said she was not hit by a car but probably had a torn tendon. Her limp is now gone and all her hair has grown back. She has been spayed and tested negative for feline leukemia. She is also litter box trained.

Amber gets along with my two dogs although my dogs don't really bother her! I think she would get along with other cats since she tries to play with my cat on a daily basis! Amber does not like to rough house so she may not be good with young kids. Amber loves cat treats and human food so we are working on manners. I think that human food is probably all she had to eat when she was on her own.

Please call Cynde at 361-331-3737 if you have any questions or would like to meet Amber.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amber, a Corpus Christi Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Corpus Christi, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Corpus Christi.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Corpus Christi already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Corpus Christi breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Corpus Christi paves the way for another one to be saved.
