Al-adopted's Story...
THESE PHOTOS WERE TAKEN IN OUR BARN WHERE WE FIRST CARE FOR THE ANIMALS UPON THEIR ARRIVAL- give them a physical, vaccinate, worm and care for them for 10 days until they go to a foster. We quarrantine each baby upon their arrival to guarrantee the health of our Barkaritaville pets. Each pet comes completely vetted, microchipped and our rescue pays for the first month of Shelter Care Pet Health Insurance. ______________________________________________ Hi! My name is Al. I was found wandering the countryside in rural Tennessee. I was actually found wandering the road in front of Al and Tipper Gore's house and have been named accordingly!! I'm approximately 4 months old and quite a handsome man! I have one sister and a brother. I'm getting plenty of socialization at the foster where I am staying. I've had all of my vaccinations and will be "tutored" January 2nd which they say will make me really smart. I would really like a family to call my own and a warm bed, some toys and maybe a litle boy or girl to call my own. Won't you be my family? To adopt Al, please complete our foster/adopt application at and the big dawgs will get back to ya in two shakes of a puppy's tail!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Al-adopted, a Ft. Mitchell Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Ft. Mitchell, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Ft. Mitchell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ft. Mitchell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ft. Mitchell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ft. Mitchell paves the way for another one to be saved.
