Husky's Story...
We love our senior citizens, both two and four legged. We are also positive that dogs prolong your years by keeping you active and giving you something to care for. We sometimes come across a senior dog, like Husky, who is a little harder to place, because he's older than a puppy. Buster's Friends adoption fee for these senior dogs is only $50.00 for seniors. Although Husky enjoys a walk, he doesn't need to go long or far. Husky is house trained and gets along with most mellow dogs. Being up in age, he sees little need for wild play and misbehaving youths. We are not sure how old Husky is and he's not telling - one vet says 4 years, another says 8 years. Come by Uptown Park this weekend and take Husky for a trip around the park. We bet you fall in love. :)

Husky is updated on shots, spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm tested.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Husky, a Houston Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Houston, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
