Hi my name is Roxy. Just look at those ears. I can hear an ant crawling from a mile off. As you can see in the picture my left one is a little lazy, but it makes me as cute as can be.

I was dumped by my owner at animal control because I had 10 puppies. Yup 10!! All my babies found wonderful homes, but I am still looking for a home that is just my own.

I am a very good girl and do well with humans. I love just to be by your feet soaking up some love and being petted as much as you can. I like to play with my humans too and get very excited and do the doggie crouch down to let you know I’m ready to play. I also love long walks and hikes. Basically, I just love being with my humans as much as I can. Do you have some love and time for me?

I have had a couple of instances where another dog attacked me (they started it) and I was badly injured, so I have become somewhat dog reactive. For this reason it would be best for me to be an only dog, or to be properly introduced into a home with a very mellow, submissive dog that I won’t feel threatened by.

Do you have a lap and a warm bed to share? I promise I sleep through the night and will be a good girl.

About Valley Dogs

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a pending non-profit, no-kill rescue organization dedicated to rescuing and rehoming adoptable cats and dogs. We have over 40 years of combined rescue experience and knowledge.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do not have a kennel / shelter type of facility. We believe the most effective and successful way to match families and pets is to foster them in our own homes. Ultimately fostering our rescue animals in homes rather than a kennel environment allows us to give you complete information on the pet's behavior and how well he / she will fit with your family and lifestyle.

Our Adoption Process...

At Valley Dogs we make every effort to place the right animal in the right home. To aid in this goal, we use trained Adoption Consultants to help you select the best match for your lifestyle. You will meet with an Adoption Consultant and discuss your lifestyle, activity level, expectations, likes/dislikes, and past experiences with animals. Your consultant will then recommend the best match for your family and your lifestyle.
