Hello world! My name is Harley. I'm about 5 years old and am a Lhasa Apso/ Shih Tzu mix. I weigh about 15 pounds. Sadly, my elderly owner passed away, and I have found myself in need of a new home. I wasn't in very good shape when Tiny Paws took me in, but they cut all my matted hair off, had me neutered and my vaccines done and I've been micro chipped too.

I have a condition called dry eye, and my eyes don't produce any tears on their own, so I need to have artificial tears put in my eyes a couple of times a day. I also have very poor vision as a result of this condition. I can see shadows but that's about it. However, once I get used to your environment you would never know that I don't see well - I can run around and play with the best of them! My foster mom takes me for a walk every day and I just love to prance along and play with my leash.

I am a real cuddle bug, and very affectionate. I get along well with the other dogs in my foster home, but can get a bit uptight when a dog startles me, and will growl a bit to warn them away. I could adjust to a home with another dog (we don’t know about cats) given time and patience, but I would also be very happy as an only dog so that I can get all of your attention. I am house trained, and very quiet in the home – I rarely bark.
