Jazz is a Border Collie and Labrador Retriever mix. She is 3 years old, petite, smart, brave, sweet and wonderful.
Her foster family is smitten and reports:
Jazz is is a beautiful dog on the outside, but what you can't see is the overwhelmingly loyal and sweet personality that exists on the inside She is a total cuddler. She loves to climb on your lap on the couch or lay on your chest nose to nose in bed. If you don't want your dog on your furniture or sleeping in your bed, don't even think of adopting Jazz. She gets along with other dogs in the household very well. She walks well on or off leash; she pulls a little on leash, but calms down after while. She is totally house trained and trust worthy to be left to free roam the house while her people are away. She does great with open feeding and didn't even over eat while pregnant. She knows commands such as sit, down and shake however she will mostly only perform her tricks for food rewards. She is extremely intelligent and could easily be trained to do a multitude of tricks I'm sure. Whoever adopts Jazz will be extremely lucky to add her to their family.
Jazz will need a home with no kitty's as she is a little too interested in them.
Many Golden lovers are not aware of how doomed black dogs like Jazz and her babies are when they are brought into the average animal shelter.
