Daisy Lou: 3 yrs old, Re smooth, 12 lbs.

Daisy is a beautiful dachshund>. Her owner was homeless so she was surrendered to a shelter. Daisy is a shy dog and the shelter environment terrified her. Since dogs cowering in the back of their cage aren't considered adoptable, rescue was asked to take her.

In her foster home, Daisy has relaxed and blossomed. She is shyly friendly with all but any sudden move to pick her up will scare her. Because of this we think she would do better in a home with no children or children age 10 and up.

Daisy has started to play with the other dogs. She loves getting out on walks. She sleeps quietly in her crate at night but she has clearly stated she would prefer the big bed. She does not like being gated off from people and will whine to be in the same room as her humans.

Daisy has been vaccinated, spayed and micro chipped. We have been told she is good with cats and that she likes to play with laser lights. We know that she loves playing fetch.
