Princess's Story...
I’m a true beauty and a good time to boot! Not really sure why they named me Princess…I mean, I’m no stuck up Princess type. I like to play and have fun, I like to get rowdy with the other dogs and roll in the dirt. I’m the social, fun-timin’, friends with everybody type! I’m also smart as a whip and quick to learn. I’m still a puppy, and I’ll require a lot of exercise, training, and daily love and attention. I’m not the kind of dog you leave out in the yard all day, I want to be part of the family…I want to take part in daily family activities. Now, don’t get me wrong, I also love to lie in the sun and nap on a hot day…I love to relax. I just need to get some playtime first!
10 months old-58lbs. My adoption fee is $220 and includes; microchip, neuter, reduced cost training class, 1 month pet health insurance, free veterinary exam, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Princess, a Portland Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Portland, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
