MEET NEESI....a precious, petite, 11 lb, tri colored, 3 yr old Shih Tzu Lhasa mix, heavy on the Shih Tzu. She does have a long body, a flat head and almond eyes, but she appears to be really Tzu to us! She is small, very soft and loving. Her temperament is wonderful. She is calm and easy going, playful and happy. She is great with everyone, dogs -- people -- kids. She came from South Central, also known as "the hood" -- and shell shocked would be a total understatement. This little girl came out of the shelter and was spayed...and then she developed vaginitis and a bad case of kennel cough. She was really feeling rotten and then her personality started to emerge and it has come out full force!! She is a doll...loves to run around the yard, tries to play with her foster sister and loves to tug on her ears and is just sweet, sweet, sweet. The thing she does the most is kiss, kiss and kiss some more. She is so affectionate and appreciative of life, despite what she has been throught. The best home for Neesi would be one where she gets a lot of love and attention... #1. She really should have another dog to play with, but if you work from home and have lots of friends with dogs, she could be an only dog...but that wouldn't be our first preference. She is quiet, so an apartment would be OK....you are the most important part of Neesi's life.
Our website is updated daily. Please do not apply for this dog unless your home fits the specified criteria. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, groomed, vet checked, dewormed, deflea'd and come with a leash, collar and ID tag!

First Sunday of the month, we hold our adoption events at The Healthy Spot West Hollywood (8525 Santa Moinca Blvd, West Hollywood, 90069) from 11am-3pm. Most every other Sunday, unless we are doing a special event, we are at My Pet Naturally (12001 W. Pico Blvd., West LA 90064) from 10:30a-3pm. You can see this, and many more, adorable pups at this weekly event! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!!! And don't forget to check out our
