Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi all, AZBHR refers to me as Vienna. I'm a 4 1/2 yr old, red, 45lb little beauty. I came to AZBHR on Feb 2 because I have tick fever and my parents couldn't provide me with the medicine I needed. I had lost the use of my back legs and had to drag them along with me. It was painful so I didn't get along very well with a bunch of other dogs around. So then I went to stay with my current foster mom where I have lots of peace and quiet. After just a couple of weeks on medication I feel sooo much better I can't believe it.
I love to get my head, ears and chin scratched, I just prefer to sit on the floor while you love on me. Maybe that will change when I'm all better. I'm crate trained but haven't had to be in one while at moms. I'm pretty smart and I love the back yard so I could learn to use a doggie door, wish mom had one.
It's so nice not to have to drag my back end around anymore. Now I run and play like a normal girl. And the best part is the Dr. says I don't need any surgery on my back! Woo hoo, That's a relief! I'm a very sweet girl and I don't have any bad habits. I love my walks and kids are fun. I don't care much for other female dogs, but males seem to be ok. Fetch is a really fun game as long as we play in the house and I can tear from room to room. I prefer having human company around but my foster mom works a lot and I've gotten used to being alone. I haven't had any accidents but I sure give her a piece of my mind when she gets home. I don't normally bark a lot but neither do I hold back from voicing my opinion. I think the condition of my back end could have had some influence, but I'm not real cuddly.
