Hello...my name is Brittany. My family could no longer take care of me, so they brought me to the shelter with the hopes that I will soon be able to find a new forever home, where there is someone to love me for the wonderful and gentle girl that I am. My dog walker says that there should be a big sign on my kennel that says - Attention...Attention, here is one, sweet, gentle and loving girl and her name is Brittany!!! Hey...that's me. The people here at the shelter say that I am one of the most gentle and special ladies that they have ever met. I walk nicely on the leash, I love people and I like other dogs too. I enjoy getting brushed, love hugs and kisses. In fact, I came into the shelter with Gracie, but Gracie and I had a nice long talk, and we decided that we could be adopted out to different homes. We love each other very much, and we want what is best for us, as we both are in need of a new forever home. I'm 5 years old and would love a nice yard where I could walk around and also maybe just lay in the shade during the day, but of course would love to have a nice bed to snuggle up in at night in the house. I love people very much, and I would love to have a dog buddy to keep me company too. I am a Retriever mix girl, and have that great, friendly Retriever personality.
