Mag Pie's Story...
Mag Pie was saved from a local animal shelter after she was picked up as a stray in horrible condition! She has severe chemical burns on her head and back. Supposedly Mag Pie was originally adopted from the shelter and she went missing from her adopters house for nearly two weeks. Poor Mag Pie was then discovered wandering the streets by animal control with severe chemical burns. : ( She's approximately 9-10 months old and she gets along great with other dogs. She loves to play fetch. Mag Pie knows how to "sit" like a champ and she's a very fast learner. Mag Pie is still looking for ger forever and desperately wants a place to call her own for the holidays. She's fully vetted, which includes; spayed, all vaccines, heartworm negative, kept on heartworm and flea/tick prevention, and microchipped. Mag Pie has had a wonderful donor sponsor half of her adoption fee. This makes it only $65 to adopt.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mag Pie, a Arlington Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
