Sun Conure Pair

Also known as the “Sun-Dactyls”, Autumn and Zema are a VERY bonded pair of sun conures. They have plucked each other half-naked, yet still have some feathers (Zema likes to wear a yellow helmet, lol!). They have very expressive eyes and a lot of personality. Right now they are still getting to know me. Autumn is a little grouchy and would like to bite me if I let her and she prefers not to come out of her cage much yet as she is very nervous, but she is very playful and likes to hang upside down. Zema will occasionally step up, and likes to shoulder sit, but both birds become agitated if they cannot see one another. They do like to be sung to (they don’t care if you are off key!) however, they are both scared of any item in your hand that is not food related, but I am working with them and trying to show them that I am trustworthy, but it is a slow going. They are social and like to come up to the cage when people pass by, but even when I leave the cage door open, they do not venture out to the playtop. This pair will just need a loving and patient home to help them come out of their shells!
