Clementine's Story...
***Clementine is currently in foster care and not at the shelter. Please e-mail if you would like to meet her!***

Sweet Clem came to us from a shelter down in southern California. When she arrived, she was completely shut down and scared and did not know what being a dog was all about. After a few days spent in one of our shelter offices, the true Clementine started to come out. She is as sweet as pie and simply ADORES other dogs. We sent her out to foster care so she could get some more one-on-one attention and she is doing better each day! She now can walk on a leash and go out in public without being terrified. She loves her foster family, but is now ready to find her own family. We think she would do best with another young, playful dog in the home. Please contact us if you think you are the ONE for Clem!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clementine, a Sacramento Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
