Olive's Story...
Olive is about 2-3 years old and she was surrendered to the rescue when her family felt they could no longer care for her. Olive is a goofy pit mix (maybe part greyhound) who loves to run around the yard and play with toys. She can very easily keep herself entertained in the yard with a toy and loves to pick them up and throw them up in the air then pounce on them when they land. She is also extremely lovable and absolutely loves to snuggle up next to you and sometimes tries to snuggle on top of you. Olive is currently living with two other female pitties and two cats but Olive is a little picky about her dog friends because she likes to be the center of attention. She is completely housebroken and crate trained. She has had some basic obedience training and knows sit, shake, down, stay, and is good on the leash (I walk her with an easy walk harness). Why Adoption is a Great Option

Olive, a Medford American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Medford, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Medford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Medford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Medford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Medford paves the way for another one to be saved.
