Betsy's Story...
Meet Betsy. Betsy mom is a boxer and her dad must of been some kind of wirehair terrier. This is one sweet little girl. She weighs around 4lbs and is 11 weeks old as of Sept 16. She will probably be a small dog. She is chocolate brown, and has the prettiest brown eyes. Betsy has the sweetest and gentlest personality. She is just so loveable that you will want to pick her up and love on her all the time. Betsy will make a wonderful little dog, for some wonderful family. So won't you give her a home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Betsy, a Portland Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Boxer for sale in Portland, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Boxer breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
