My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bandit:

Bandit is 11 months old and 33lbs. Our best guess is he is a Shepherd mix. Bandit was left in a cage on the front porch of a spay/neuter clinic with a note attached that read: I am a good dog, please find me a home. We have found that he LOVES water and will swim in anything - even a rubbermaid tote. He is housetrained, if he can't get you to let him outdoors he'll go on a peepee pad. He is kennel trained, knows sit and stay and is anxious to learn more. He loves to play with other dogs and kids. Bandit grew up poor and it has made him possessive of his toys and treats so if he has one of either just leave him alone and let him enjoy it! He is an excellent retriever and will bring back tennis balls until you're worn out. He has also been known to go retrieving on table and counter tops so you may want to keep tasty items out to reach. He loves to go for walks and is a loyal companion of the perfect size. Because Bandit is a tad selfish he may not be well suited for younger children. Adults and older children are his favorite. He is a good boy who has waited a long time for some to love him and a family of his own.
