Bitty's Story...
This is Bitty. Bitty is the smallest of 7 puppies. She is just as cute as she can be. She weighs around 6 pounds and is 3 months as of Sept 26. Her mom is a boxer, but we think her dad might of been a dachshund, because she has a long body, and short little legs. She is probably going to be a small dog. Bitty is very lovable, and adorable. She will be a wonderful little dog, for any family.(DG)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bitty, a Windham Dachshund/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Boxer for sale in Windham, or seeking a Dachshund/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Windham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Windham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Windham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Boxer breeders who help with Dachshund/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Windham paves the way for another one to be saved.
