Here is what her foster family had to say about Molly:
Molly is the sweetest dog I have ever met. She is very loyal, devoted and affectionate. Excellent with other dogs and cats. Respects older dogs but ready to play with any dog that wants to play. Excellent on short and long leash but prefers longer leash – will stay by your side outside when called to come, listens well. She has not mastered as yet going into water and swimming but she has worked on it over the summer especially if another dog is in the water.
Molly is the best with anyone. Children adore her and visa versa. For anyone new meeting her she will sit pretty and look at them with her big brown eyes and beg for petting and tummy rub very quietly for as long as you want to pet. She likes to rough-house with us and when she does she is too funny keeping us laughing most of the time. Her transition between rough play and settling down is very good. She loves to jump and catch moths flying around near the ground usually in the dark. She is fine when left outside on her own. She loves to chase squirrels. Loves to play with cats as if they were another dog but gently and not rough. She is amazing in that she enjoys eating anything ie: fruits and vegetables.
Molly is crated when we go out and at night. She will complain when we first leave during the day but is fine sleeping through the night even though we are in another room. She would do best with another dog in the house to keep her company during the day if you work long hours. With our schedule change she is being left alone far too long (10 – 11 hours, 5 days a week). My daughter tends to play too rough with her lately and is getting to be too much for Molly. This is another main reason we need to find a new home for Molly although I had hoped to be keeping her.
Molly’s favourite things to do are car rides, dog park to play, running with the kids, walks in the woods, running around the beach in the sand, just being loved and petted.
She is a wonderful family companion!
