Here's what the humans have to say about me:
7/15/12 - ADOPTION PENDING!
Adoption Fee: $250
Fostered in Texas
Age: 8 years
Weight: 8.9 lbs.
2/21/12 - Hi ! It's me, Mitch. Someone woke me up. Is it daylight already?
I have nothing to do today. Same as every day. Except I do like laying around . I do that really well. I don't demand much attention. I really REALLY look forward to dinner time however. That is one of the highlights of my day. That and when my foster parents come home from work.
I found out that I LOVE car rides! I lay down and am quiet. I get out when you take me out.
If you don't expect much from a dog, I'm the one for you! I'm easy-going, and who doesn't love a pup sleeping with them, waking up like this in the morning???
Please - fill out an application to adopt me. You'll be glad you did.
11/2/11 - Mitch has learned to go up and down the stairs and can sit. He loves to curl up and go to sleep in his human's lap. He is a great pup waiting on his great home.
9/29/11 - A poem to give you an insight on Mitch’s personality:
A faithful dog who will play with you and laugh with you or cry, He’ll gladly starve to stay with you and never ask you why, And if you're feeling out of sorts, He will understand, He’ll watch you with his soulful eyes, and even lick your hand, When everything is said and done, this really isn't odd, For when you spell "Dog" backwards, you get the name of “God”.
Mitch is a very shy, delicate young man . His new owners will need to understand that his life hasn’t been a great one and give him the time and space he needs to trust them. He came from a home with many other pets, and even though he had food and water, he chose not to fight for attention, so never got any. He has a great personality, never pushy or overly needy. He just takes what he gets and appreciates it all. One of his little quirks is going in an out the back doorway to do business outside. He does business outside when let out and is doing ok with potty training, we just think the small doorway is an issue for him since he is used to living in a cage, so never really experienced “going out to potty or play”. Once out, he loves to run in his backyard. He wants someone to love him and someone he can love so badly and is the most gentle, devoted pup ever. He isn’t very pushy with the other pups in his foster home, but his foster parents are seeing him come out of his shell daily and just recently caught him playing tug-o-war with one of the others. He is also learning a lot from them about being a companion pet, barking when necessary, getting excited when mom or dad come, etc. If you’ve ever wanted unconditional love, give Mitch a shot and he’ll never leave your side.
