Brando's Story...
I am a happy go lucky guy, sort of a rough and tumble fella. And I gotta tell ya…I am ready to be loved and I have got lots and lots of love to give to you! I am a very playful kid and my new home needs to be fun and active like me. Other dogs? You bet! Kids? If they are big enough to handle some play, you bet!I Cats? If they wanna play, you bet! am crate trained already, know my basic commands and I did well with my house manners too. All this and I am one handsome fella. German Shepherd/Labrador Retriever and a little something else that give me this awesome brindle coat- there are few breeds that make this tiger stripe: Boxer? Pit Bull Terrier? Akita? Great Dane? Ah, the stripes arent important its whats on the inside that counts- and I am all love. 10 months-55lbs. My adoption fee is $160 and includes; current shots, microchip, neuter, 5 week Training Class, free veterinary exam (SE Portland/Milwaukie area only),1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brando, a Portland German Shepherd Dog/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Boxer for sale in Portland, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Boxer dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Boxer breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
