My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ginny is a sweetheart senior shepherd mix... and a smart cookie, too! We're hoping you have a big heart to see past Ginny's senior age (we aren't sure of her age, only that she's a senior) and see what a gem she is for yourself when you meet her! She's a quiet girl (not a barker at all), about 50 lbs., walks very well on a leash, will sit when asked and shake paws with you...she aims to please. She is nicely housetrained, too. She loves to go for car rides or long, leisurely walks- she won't pull you along, so she's easy to handle. She is curious about cats and will generally do well with other gentle natured dogs one-on-one, always wagging her tail when she sees another dog during her walks.




Her story is a sad one, and one we see too often: she was abandoned in a house with other another dog after their owner died, leaving them to fend for themselves. Luckily the other dog found a home...now sweet Ginny needs to find her own place to call home to spend her remaining years. Will it be with you?
