My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

shoe and dog

(ID #500) Hi, my name is Spirit.

I came to the shelter as a stray so my background is a mystery. I am a high energy lady so you can't be a couch potato to handle me. I would benefit from some training to help me understand what manners are.

At least here at the shelter I have my basic needs met, like food and water plus a roof over my head. However, I am longing to find my forever home and a family to love me. Do you have room in your heart and your home for me??

I am a young lady, around one year old and I weigh around 55 pounds. I have already been spayed, given my basic shots, microchipped, and am heartworm negative.

I am being sponsored by Sheltered Paws Dog Rescue. That means they are providing you with a getting started Goodie Bag when you adopt me. The bag contains a collar, leash, ID tag, training DVD, CD with helpful articles, booklet with training information, toy, and treats. They are also providing a certificate for a free training course held at the shelter.

See you soon, SPIRIT.
