Baby's Story...
This is BABY. Originally said to be a boy from some unobservant shelter worker, we named him COOPER, but we are told by the foster mom that COOPER is a GIRL!. They have been calling her Baby, so Baby it is! I don't know much about her yet, but she sure looks too adorable to be where she is. We pulled him from that dreadful kill shelter in North Carolina and is going into a foster home. She will be spayed and fully vetted this week and will be on the transport next Friday to CT. She is just too cute. Baby is about 4 years old and weighs about 15 lbs. Stay tuned for new pictures and more information on Baby. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baby, a West Hartford Pekingese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pekingese for sale in West Hartford, or seeking a Pekingese dog from a breeder in West Hartford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Hartford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Hartford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pekingese breeders who help with Pekingese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Hartford paves the way for another one to be saved.
