My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Posted November 2nd....We are proud to introduce Scooby. He is about 15 weeks old of pure sweetness and about 20 pounds. Scooby is such a lover, and everyone who meets him loves him right back. He loves to be held and cuddled and is just the sweetest little pup.

Scooby is a wonderful friendly, kind, gentle temperament and would do wonderfully with children. He is being fostered in a home in Naperville around children, other dogs, kitties and is great with them all. If your application is approved, you would go to the foster mom's home in Naperville to meet this wonderful pup. Scooby was rescued from a farm in Indiana where the owner didn't spay the pooch. He had a really bad staph infection when he arrived, but has healed nicely with the antibiotics. He still has some fur that needs to grow back, but it certainly not changed this very spirited, but sometimes shy puppy. His healed wounds that may or may not be scars we just don't know yet, really gives this very sweet, adorable, handsome pooch extra character and terrific rescue story. He is so very appreciative of the warm bed he gets to sleep in along with all the food he can eat that he will certainly make a wonderful companion and pet.

The adoption fee of $250.00 includes: His neutering (which is already done), microchipped, rabies vaccinated age appropriate, up to date for Distemper-Adenovirus-Parainfluenza-Parvo-Lepto vaccination, treated with Revolution for fleas and mites, and dewormed with Revolution. You will also receive a free office visit to Crest Hill Cat and Dog Clinic, Woodridge Animal Hospital, Yorkville Animal Hospital or Wheaton Animal Hospital, a training dvd, and tons of coupons for Petco.

The adoption also comes with a free puppy/doggy class through Flydogs located at Central Bark Doggie Day Care in Oswego, which introduces you to housebreaking, name recognition, crate training, sit/stay and leash walking. This is one free class you really don't want to miss, and 10% off purchase of a 10-day care package for dogs attending Central Bark Doggy Day Care in Oswego.

If you would like to meet this absolutely terrific dog, please go to the angelsonwheelsanimalrescue.com website to download an adoption application. Please be sure your application is complete, or email sspratl@gmail.com and we would be happy to send you an application.

Please note that we are a foster based rescue and do not have a facility, which means all of our animals are cared for in homes of wonderful people who have volunteered their time to help save them.

Thank you for looking at our rescued animals and wanting to give them a wonderful home.
