Zoe's Story...
This darling little girl is Zoe. She absolutely does NOT belong in a high kill shelter. She is about 10 weeks old. We are guessing that she is some type of spaniel, but really won't be sure until we see her in person. She just looks so adorable! She has been pulled from the shelter and is now in foster care awaiting her spay and vetting. Zoe will be making the trip to CT on Sept 30 and will be available to meet you on October 1 in West Hartford, CT. IF you would like to add Zoe to your home, please fill out a free, no obligation application at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoe, a West Hartford Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in West Hartford, or seeking a Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in West Hartford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Hartford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Hartford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Hartford paves the way for another one to be saved.
