Abby's Story...
Hello my name is Abby, I was rescued from animal control with my brother and am now searching for my forever home!! I am about 7 months old and will be about 40 pounds full grown. I am a bit shy at first, but give me a few minutes to warm up. I am a little nervous around young children and would do best in a low traffic household!! I would like a doggie friend too, it would help me not be so shy!! I walk well on a leash and am doing really well with my potty training! I sure hope to find my forever family soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abby, a Edwardsville Beagle/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Border Collie for sale in Edwardsville, or seeking a Beagle/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Edwardsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edwardsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edwardsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Border Collie breeders who help with Beagle/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edwardsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
